SnitchBro

SMS consent flow

This page documents the consent screen planned for invited accountability partners.

Preview only. The SMS program is not yet active. This page does not collect a phone number or enroll anyone in messages.

How consent is collected

  1. An app member chooses a trusted adult and sends a personal invitation from the member's own device.
  2. The invited partner opens a unique consent link and reviews the message purpose and disclosures above.
  3. The partner confirms control of the displayed mobile number, selects an unchecked consent box, and taps “Agree and activate alerts.”
  4. SnitchBro records the phone number, invitation, consent timestamp, and disclosure version. No automated SMS is sent before this step is complete.

After consent

The partner receives a confirmation identifying SnitchBro and explaining STOP and HELP. Later messages are transactional and event-triggered. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

Withdrawal

A recipient may reply STOP at any time. SnitchBro records the opt-out and blocks future messages to that recipient unless the recipient later completes a valid re-opt-in.
