SMS consent flow

SnitchBro texts an accountability partner only after that partner consents on the form shown below. The form opens from a unique invitation link that an app member shares personally with the partner, so it has no public address. How consent is collected

  1. An app member chooses a trusted adult and sends them a personal invitation link from the member's own phone. Receiving the link enrolls nobody.
  2. The partner opens the link and sees the form below: who invited them, what the alerts are, the last four digits of their mobile number, and the full disclosures.
  3. The partner confirms control of the number by checking an unchecked consent box, then taps “Agree and activate alerts.” The box cannot be pre-checked.
  4. SnitchBro stores the phone number, the invitation, the consent timestamp, the exact wording agreed to and its version. Only then can automated alerts be sent to that number.

Step 2: the partner consents

The partner checks the box and taps the button. The consent text reads:

I confirm that I own or control this mobile number and agree to receive recurring, event-triggered accountability text messages from SnitchBro about [Member name]. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. I have reviewed the Terms and Privacy Policy.

Step 3: confirmation

Shown after the consent is recorded. Reopening the link shows this page again; consent is recorded once.

After consent

Alerts identify SnitchBro and the app member and describe the accountability event. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. HELP replies point to hello@snitchbro.com.

Withdrawal

A recipient may reply STOP at any time. SnitchBro records the opt-out and sends no further messages to that number unless the recipient later completes a new consent.
